McCrudden Training’s collaborative approach with our clients has again been recognised by the TJ (Training Journal) 2019 awards.
The team attended the Pavilion at the Tower of London on 3 December 2019 and were thrilled to be awarded Silver in the Best Training Partnership category for our innovative, successful and ongoing leadership development programme ‘Lead by Example’ for West London NHS Trust (WLNHS).
Nicky McCrudden, Director of McCrudden Training, believes the awards are validation for the hard work she and the team puts into working so closely with their clients. She says: “Our training approach is very much about working with our clients as partners – working with them to put best practices into place, to help their managers support their staff and build relationships. We don’t just turn up, deliver a training course and say ‘this is what you have to do’. We develop tailored training courses with our client’s ethos and culture at their heart, so that they deliver exactly what they need in a way their staff will understand.”
The TJ Awards recognise ‘the ingenuity, creativity, passion and hard work of learning and development professionals from around the world’.
The Lead by Example programme for WLNHS epitomises best practice excellence in the field of L&D. Working closely with the Trust, reviewing staff surveys and feedback, McCrudden Training developed a tailor-made programme to help the Trust become an exemplar employer. The trust now ranks among the top performing mental health employers nationally.
